Help us coordinate the next step
Share the registration, location, callback number and what happened. Photograph the vehicle and scene when safe. Our team will coordinate with the insurer or police as needed. Keep the claim form and other documents you receive.
Contact us before arranging repairs
Do not arrange repairs or move the car independently unless necessary for safety. Responsibility depends on the incident, documentation, cover and agreement. SCDW has exclusions and does not waive every possible charge.
Start with a clear condition record
At pickup, inspect existing marks with staff, record them on the handover form and take clear photographs. Report any new mark promptly. Ask for an explanation of the damage assessment rather than estimating the charge from a photograph.
Excess and example repair charges
We inspect the car with you at handover and record any existing marks, and we expect it back in the same condition. For new damage, scratches or dents you pay the actual repair cost up to the excess, unless you bought SCDW (additional cover).
If we can polish a scratch out so that the next customer cannot see it at inspection, we do not charge for repainting. If it is still visible after polishing, the car goes for repair and an excess of up to 10,000 THB (sedans), 15,000 THB (SUVs, 7-seaters and pickups) or 100,000 THB (motorhome) per damaged area or incident is charged.
These are example charges; the actual charge is assessed on the condition of the car and the repair needed.
