What we collect, why we use it, and your rights.
Who is responsible for your data
UDON CAR RENT (Mueang Udon Thani, Udon Thani) is the controller of personal data you provide through this website. For privacy matters contact booking@udoncarrent.com or call 099-114-1146.
What we collect
The request and booking forms collect your name, phone, email, vehicle preference, pickup and return locations, dates, times, flight number (if given) and any notes you type. Do not enter ID numbers, passport numbers or payment-card details in the website forms; required documents are checked with our team at handover.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use your data to reply, provide a quote and confirm and manage your rental. This is necessary to act on your request before a contract and to perform the rental contract, and to prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, which is our legitimate interest. If we ever want to use your data for another purpose we will ask for your consent first.
Who receives it
Your data is not shown publicly and is not sold. Authorised staff use it to manage your request. Service providers who help us operate, such as hosting and email providers, may access it as far as needed to provide their service. When you open LINE, Facebook or Google Maps, that provider’s service and privacy policy apply.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside Thailand. We choose providers with appropriate safeguards and share only what is needed.
How long we keep it
We keep request and booking data only as long as needed to manage the rental, answer questions and meet legal obligations, after which staff delete or anonymise it. You can ask for earlier deletion using the rights below.
Your rights
You may ask to access, receive a copy of, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your data, to receive or transfer it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Contact booking@udoncarrent.com with your request reference. Our team may verify your identity before acting.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You may also complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019).
Security
The site uses HTTPS. Forms use a security token and submission limits, and access to data is limited to the staff who need it.
Essential cookies
The request page uses an essential cookie lasting up to one day for form security, and a hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions. Contact details are not included in analytics events.
Children and changes to this notice
This service is for renters aged 25 or over and we do not knowingly collect children’s data. If this notice changes, we will update this page.
