Renting a car at Udon Thani Airport: a checklist before you fly

Before you fly: five things to have

Send a booking request with your dates, flight number and arrival time. We reply to confirm the car and price, normally within 30 minutes to 3 hours in opening hours (06:30–21:00). Once confirmed, we prepare the car and meet you at parking A3 at the agreed time.

• Your original driving licence (copies, photos and screenshots are not accepted). If it is not in English bring an International Driving Permit, and check with your licensing authority that you may drive in Thailand
• Your original passport or ID card, and your booking reference or confirmation e-mail
• Drivers aged 25 or over (renters over 70 pay a 35% surcharge); up to 2 drivers, tell us the second driver’s name beforehand
• Cash for the security deposit (normally 5,000 THB; Celerio 3,000; Fortuner/Pajero Sport 10,000) and the rental balance after your booking payment (normally 500–5,000 THB, paid once we confirm and credited to the rent). The deposit is cash only; the rent can be paid by card if agreed in your booking (minimum 4,000 THB, 3% fee)
• A number we can reach on LINE or WhatsApp in case your flight time changes

Arrival day, step by step

1. Land, collect your bags, then call or message us when you are outside
2. Walk to parking A3, opposite gate 1, where our team waits with the car
3. Walk around the car, photograph any marks together with our team and note the fuel level
4. Pay the rental balance and leave the cash deposit
5. Take the keys and go

Times and charges to know

Airport handover is free until 20:30. After that a 500 THB after-hours fee applies each time, not charged on rentals of 10 days or more. Our team works until 21:00. For arrivals after 21:00 or before 06:30, arrange it 12–24 hours ahead; we confirm any charge in your quote before you commit. The 24-hour line is for emergencies on the road, not for handover. If your flight is delayed, tell us as early as possible so we can agree a new time.

Returning the car at the airport

Bring the car back to parking A3 at the agreed time, allow time before your flight, refuel to full (full to full) and meet our team for the inspection. The deposit is returned in cash on the spot after the inspection. If the car cannot be inspected properly (very dirty, rain or darkness) it may be inspected later and the deposit transferred within 24–72 hours. If you return to our office, a free wash is available within 60 minutes before the return time, which helps the inspection go quickly.
