Controls differ between models. Ask staff to demonstrate A/C, recirculation and demisting before you leave. If the car has been parked in the sun, release hot air while safely parked before closing the windows and cooling the cabin.

Choose the right setting

Recirculation reduces the intake of hot outside air. If the windows mist, use the demisting controls described in the vehicle handbook. Adjust the temperature and fan for passenger comfort and keep luggage clear of vents.

If the system does not seem right

Report unusual noise, smells or poor cooling to staff. Do not dismantle the system or add refrigerant yourself. If visibility through the glass is poor, stop safely before adjusting the controls.
